I'm wearing my late father's Navy dog tags from WW2. He did not have active duty, but it takes everyone to make the armed forces function.

I am a Viet Nam vet (USN), and we appreciated the the needed support that we got from those who were not actually in the combat zone.

Then I salute you, too, Craig! My brother was a Viet Nam era vet, serving in Japan but not further into the active duty areas.
