"After all, there is a Protestantism still worth contending for, there is a Calvinism still worth proclaiming, and a gospel well worth dying for" (CH Spurgeon)
By faith he sojourned in the land of promise, as in a strange country, dwelling in tabernacles with Isaac and Jacob, the heirs with him of the same promise. (Hebrews 11:9) These all died in faith, not having received the promises, but having seen them afar off, and were persuaded of them, and embraced them, and confessed that they were strangers and pilgrims on the earth. (Hebrews 11:13)

Amen! Love the Spurgeon, and Calvin, great posts. This world so often distracts us and lures us away from the One important Person, Jesus Christ.
Yes, and I love how these two preachers constantly exalted the Lord Jesus Christ before their hearers and readers. They set a good example for us.
Keep up the good work
