By faith he sojourned in the land of promise, as in a strange country, dwelling in tabernacles with Isaac and Jacob, the heirs with him of the same promise. (Hebrews 11:9)
These all died in faith, not having received the promises, but having seen them afar off, and were persuaded of them, and embraced them, and confessed that they were strangers and pilgrims on the earth. (Hebrews 11:13)

This is our living room, and you can see that we have two little Christmas trees, instead of one slightly larger one. There is somethig else different. Our daughter Becky was married last September, and lives in Pennsylvania. She and her husband, Don, will celebrate Christmas at their home in Pittsburgh. God willing, they will be able to come out here to California and spend Christmas, 2010 with us. This year it is Sheila and me with our sons, Joseph and Michael. And, of course, the cats: Blacky, Fur Elise, Jean-Louis, Pierre, and little Scout.
