Please tell me that this isn't for the purpose of Evangelism!

By faith he sojourned in the land of promise, as in a strange country, dwelling in tabernacles with Isaac and Jacob, the heirs with him of the same promise. (Hebrews 11:9) These all died in faith, not having received the promises, but having seen them afar off, and were persuaded of them, and embraced them, and confessed that they were strangers and pilgrims on the earth. (Hebrews 11:13)

Chapter and verse? I can't seem to find anywhere that Jesus wants anything accept the Father's will. He doesn't want to be my friend, since God me to Him, He is my friend by his sacrifical offering, the regeneration of the Holy Spirit and the repentance and fatih that He granted to me as a free and gracious gift.
These things make Christ to be some pathetic, anemic, needy person who just can't do anything until you semi-sovereignly ok it.
Besides, didn't Jesus say don't fear man or Satan, since they can not destroy you, but to fear God since He can destroy you in hell?
Do these guys ever read the Scritures?
That's right pal. Keep doing what you are doing. You have to keep track of the conversation or they will twist the discussion into something that is totally different.
Keep up the good work!
